Chad Hymas Keynote

Chad Hymas was the keynote speaker at this year’s MGIA tradeshow and convention on March 3. Chad is the owner of a landscape business as well as the owner and operator of an elk ranch. He was injured in 2002 when a one-ton (2,000-pound) bale of hay fell on him and broke his neck, rendering him quadriplegic.

Chad now travels the world sharing his story and message about doing what must be done. He talks about how limitations can be used to make your life better, saying “DO” is the action part of the word “DOne.” The key is to continually do the small things. Take big issues and break them down to small actionable steps and then DO them.

The NewYork Times named Chad “one of the 10 most inspiring people in the world” in February 2015. His wife, Shondell Hymas, runs marathons and raises funds for cancer research. She is also heavily involved with Bridge of Love, a foundation whose mission is to bring hope and relief to the abandoned children in Romania.

Troy and Linda were humbled to meet Chad after his talk and he was gracious enough to take a picture with them. “Chad’s seminar was incredibly moving. He is one of the most inspiring and motivating people I have ever been blessed to meet,” says Troy. “The New York Times nailed it,” said Linda, “Chad most certainly is one of the most inspiring people in the world!”

Thank you, Chad, for sharing your incredible story with our team. And thank you, Shondell, for your outstanding efforts to raise money for cancer research. You are an inspiration to us all! For more information on the Hymas family and Chad’s speaking engagements, please visit chadhymas.com.
