WILDLIFE APPROVED DESIGN
This 2017 project in Bloomfield Township, MI, doesn’t try to work against nature; it works with nature to create a secluded and tranquil setting perfect for relaxing—and yes, inviting the local wildlife. The sloped wooded site is relaxing on its own, but the addition of a small paver patio and meandering pathways make this the ideal setting for contemplation. Large stones are used to create a gently terraced area, and a gravel path beckons one to explore what’s around the next bend. This landscape design is perfect for the rustic wood-sided home. It’s unhurried, and not the least bit fussy. Just like nature.
