This Commerce City, MI, project makes the most of its stunning lakefront setting. A bland expanse of lawn was transformed into a magnificent outdoor room that brings people right to the water’s edge. This paver patio features a low fire pit made of large, flat stones which are echoed in a low seating wall as well as in the stone steps leading to the water. A second paver patio adjacent to the home and protected by a deck, houses a gourmet kitchen as well as spacious outdoor dining and living spaces. The existing retaining wall at the corner of the home was transformed into a water feature which lends even more serenity to this gorgeous lakefront setting.
